The Chief Executive of Ebony Life TV & Films, Mo Abudu has been honoured with the 2017 “IoD” Entrepreneurial awards and Fellowship award of The Institute of Directors. The announcement was made by the governing council of the Institute at IoD annual director’s dinner and dance, held at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos
The IoD Entrepreneurial Award is awarded to the entrepreneur who has shown outstanding business acumen, leadership and demonstrated outstanding results in a company that has displayed great potential to become a successful player in the local and international marketplace.
In her acceptance speech, Ms. Abudu said: “It is indeed an honour to be part of an elite group of business innovators and game changers. Tonight, we celebrate entrepreneurs – the backbone of our economic prosperity and growth.
“When we started EbonyLife TV & Films, it was our goal to inspire the next generation of visionaries and this honour is a testament that you can achieve your goals with resilience, a positive outlook and a can-do attitude.”
Other recipients at the event were former Anambra State governor, Mr. Peter Obi and President of the Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote.
